Can
I add HTML formatting to my pages?
Yes, most of your pages can accept HTML tags. As you
enter text in the Content Manager, insert the HTML tags into your
text to control how the text will look when it appears on your
site. A few common tags are shown below. There are many HTML tag
reference sites on the Internet that can provide more information
and examples. Here is an excellent resource for most HTML tags:

Bold
text: <b>This text is bold</b>
Italic

Can
I add photos to my pages?
Yes, you may add photos using the image source HTML
tag. For example, to display a photo of your staff on your About
Us page, you would add the following code to your About Us text
using the Content Manager:
<img
src="staff.jpg" align="bottom">
You
will need to host the image on a server. You may use your FTP
login to host them on your own server, or host them with a
free host, such as PhotoBucket.com.
Can
I add links to other pages or sites?
Yes, you may add links to other URLs in your text wherever
you would like. For example, you may wish to link to an online
rent payment site. Simply format the link as shown below when
you are editing text using the Content Manager.
You
may pay rent online by visiting
<a href="http://www.payclix.com/">PayClix.com</a>
How
can I resize my photos?
Many digital cameras include a program which allows
you to edit your photos, including resizing them to specific
sizes. Also, there are several excellent, free programs available
for image editing and resizing. Two are listed below:
FastStone
Photo Resizer
Picasa
How
can I improve my search engine results on Google, Yahoo,
etc.?
Your new site will be "found" by the search engines
within a week or two of going live. The search engines will look
at 3 primary areas to determine where to put you in the search
results for your keywords:
1.
Content on your main page. Be sure to include keywords in your
Mission Statement and Introductory text to include your services,
"Residential Property Management", and the areas or communities
that you serve, "Dallas, Fort Worth".
2.
The age of your site. The longer your site is in operation,
the better your rankings will be.
3.
Links to your site from other sites. The search engines will
award you with "credibility points" if other sites link to
you. Be sure to have your site listed on related Real Estate
directory or professional affiliation sites.
How
do I determine where the forms on my site will be sent?
Initially, we will setup your site so that each of the
forms is sent to the email you used when you enrolled with our
service. If you would like to change this, please telephone or
email us and we will be happy to adjust for you.
